About Us
Guten Tag!
We are David and Tamara, and traveling is our passion. We took the plunge on our first tour in September 2014 and, after much consideration and research, chose to go with Rick Steves'. One trip and we were hooked! On our way home from our Scotland tour, we were already dreaming of our next destination. Less than 8 months later, we decided to use our 10th anniversary as an excuse to experience mainland Europe for the first time.
David is a laid back traveler who loves to experience new cultures, while Tamara is a bit of an overplanner and a novice photography enthusiast. Lucky for us, this tour offers something for everyone! We hope you enjoy the photos and stories of our adventure and that it inspires you to take the leap and sign up for your own tour!

About the Tour
Why Germany, Austria and Switzerland?
After taking the Best of Scotland tour in 2014, we knew that the Rick Steves' travel style was for us! We love the beautiful sights, the educational guides, the delicious food, the small group sizes that allow friendships to form, and the cultural immersion that happens on his tours. The trouble is - which of the many amazing tours did we want to take next? We decided on the Germany, Austria and Switzerland tour because we have a love of mountains. Also, since Tamara was able to visit the land of her heritage last year, we decided it was time for David to explore some of his German roots! This tour had the perfect combination of big cities and small, scenic towns. We absolutely loved the itinerary - how can you go wrong with stunning alps, castles, lederhosen, and weiner schnitzel?
